Bukit Kiara Juara Stadium
Situated next to the Bukit Kiara Lawn Bowl Centre is the Juara Stadium. A two storey building on top of a hill, the venue caters both for indoor and outdoor activities.
Measuring 12,010 sq. metres, the stadium is fully air-conditioned and was the venue for netball matches during the KL '98 Commonwealth Games.
At the basement of the stadium lies two indoor and two outdoor courts. The indoor courts with wooden sprung floors are meant for competitions. On the other hand, the outdoor courts that boast a synthetic grass surface serves training stints.
Match results are available both from a full-colour video matrix as well as the alphanumeric electronic scoreboard. The standard manual recording of scores is further enhanced with the usage of computers.
The stadium can accommodate up to 1,000 spectators at any one time. In addition, players, match officials, members of the media and spectators are provided with clean and spacious changing rooms, lounges for relaxation, media room, fast food cafeteria and not to forget ample parking lots.
Juara Stadium also makes perfect venue to stage non-sports events like dinners, seminars, family day celebrations, mini concerts and community based gatherings. The spacious indoor courts can easily be transformed into a venue for formal function with minimum adjustment, such as for a glitzy product launch or a fashion show. In addition, the stadium's capacity to house 1,000 people is ideal for moderate event especially grand wedding dinners and other social rendezvous.
